Comedy returns to historic Fox Theatre Walsenburg with Colorado Arts and Entertainment Hall of Fame inductee Chris Fonseca headlining with support from Vincent Vigil and Adriana Holmes.
For over a decade, Chris has become a veteran performer tuning his physical disability into a positive visual image. He has won the praise of Presidents Clinton and Carter and was invited to entertain on the ABC Special, An Evening of Hope-Christopher Reeve. Chris’ career has even highlighted by many appearances on HBO, Showtime, Tonight Show with David Letterman, Evening at the Improv, Comedy on the Road, Entertainment Tonight, and features in USA Today, The Los Angeles Times, and Daily Variety. Although touring over 200 nights a year, he still finds time to share time with his two daughters.
“I know it’s unusual to see a disabled person up onstage, and if I do well, the crowd may get something out of it besides the laugh. But I’m not out there on any mission to promote disabled people and demonstrate what they can or can’t do. I’m a comedian, and I’m just trying to be funny.”
Vincent Vigil, the newcomer on the headline comic circuit, taking the Midwest by storm. Currently on the southern Colorado leg of his Right Kind of Crazy Tour.
Showtime is 7:30 PM on Friday, November 10th. Tickets can be purchased at our box office one hour before event time or by calling (719) 738-1071.
